Saturday, November 7, 10 AM: Get Ready for Winter Birds. Don Torino will give a slide presentation accompanied by a discussion on feeding and identifying our overwintering birds.

Saturday, November 7, 10 AM-12PM: Join the Bergen County Audubon Society and Get a FREE 5-Pound Bag of WBU No-Mess. Volunteers from BCAS will be here to tell you what the organization is all about. Not only do they conduct field trips to interesting locations, but they contribute to many community projects. Beginning birdwatchers welcome. You won't find a better group of people to go birding with!

Saturday, November 21, 11 AM-1PM: Live Raptors with Tenafly Nature Center. Stop by and visit with a surprise raptor guest from Tenafly Nature Center. We could have an owl or hawks or both--it depends on who is in a good mood the morning of the program. Yes, some raptors are grumpy in the morning too!

BCAS FIELD TRIPS

We are working with the Bergen County Audubon Society to make a wider variety of field trip locations available to our customers. Please check the website www.bergencountyaudubon.org for a list of ongoing field trips. Contact the designated trip leader for more information and directions, if needed.

Bergen County Audubon Society has teamed up with the New Jersey Meadowlands Commision to offer field trips on the first Sunday and third Tuesday of each month. For their schedule click here.
