Newly Proposed NJ Bird Feeding Restriction Law

URGENT ATTENTION & ACTION NEEDED.

New Jersey has proposed a new law (see link to Bill A360 below) making it illegal to put bird feeders up from April 1st to November 30th UNLESS your bird feeders are suspended 10 feet in the air, brought inside every night and the area below the feeders are kept clean. If you want to keep feeding the birds in your private backyard when you want to and without restrictions, please let your local state representatives and Governor Murphy know your feelings. The law was originally going up for vote before the New Jersey State General Assembly on October 28th, 2024, but the vote has been postponed and could be rescheduled with little to no notice.
